This was the first evening of Artlink Art Detour in Phoenix, Arizona. Sadly, I lost track of my notes, so for all these pictures, I can't tell you who is doing what or what belongs to whom. I do remember this guy was glazing ceramics at an outdoor space just a couple of doors down from where my friends (Sunset Room) were performing.

After the glaze melted, he would remove the piece from the kiln and wrap it in newspaper or toss sawdust on it -- someting to do with the carbon affecting the finish.
